Opportunities at Jewish Family Service
At Jewish Family Service, we truly appreciate our wonderful volunteers who generously give of themselves, complementing the work of our professional staff and making a difference in the lives of so many.
From the very youngest—preschoolers who make greeting cards to brighten up the lives of others—to the oldest who graciously share their expertise in a variety of subjects, our volunteers know they are making a difference.
Our volunteers:
-help with clerical jobs
-deliver meals to the home-bound
-mentor children and teens
-visit the isolated elderly
-help us plan events
-serve on a variety of agency committees
-collect food for our Food Pantry
-drive people to medical appointments
-provide pro bono professional services on our behalf
-and much, much more.
For more information about sharing your time in any of these areas—or many others—please contact our Beri Schwitzer, director of volunteer services at 972.437.9950 (ext. 248).
We look forward to working with you!
