Roseland Counseling Center

The Roseland Counseling Center was created in July of 2019 through a partnership of the Roseland Partners and Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas to provide mental health counseling and supportive services to the Roseland residents and surrounding neighborhoods.

Meet the Team


Jeannette Sanchez, MS, NCC, LPC Intern
Jeannette Sanchez, MS, LPC  

Jeannette Sanchez is a licensed professional counselor. She obtained a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Texas. During her time there, she received additional training in play therapy. She can provide services in English and Spanish. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both clinical and school settings. Jeannette has been instrumental in the development of the Roseland Counseling Program and is excited to continue serving this community!


Jessica Castillo, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist with Provisional Status
Supervised by Dr. Michael Ligocki, PhD

Dr. Jessica Castillo is currently doing her post-doctoral residency at the Roseland Mental Health Clinic, a program by Jewish Family Service that started in 2019.  Dr. Castillo earned her doctoral degree (PsyD) in clinical psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a renowned APA accredited and academic institution. Dr. Castillo has substantive experience working with children and youth in the schools and in the community. Dr. Castillo has extensive training in treatment models for child traumatic stress and uses evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT and EMDR. Dr. Castillo considers herself a gentle and humble therapist and enjoys making her children feel at ease and helping caregivers navigate the different stressors that come with this role. Dr. Castillo is excited to serve the Roseland community!
