The Roseland Counseling Center was created in July of 2019 through a partnership of the Roseland Partners and Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas to provide mental health counseling and supportive services to the Roseland residents and surrounding neighborhoods.

Meet the Team


Brittany Dweck, MS, LPC  

Brittany Dweck is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate Supervised by Laura Forester, LPC-S. She obtained a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Texas. During her time there, she received additional training in play therapy. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both clinical, residential, and school settings. Brittany believes through play therapy, children learn to feel empowered, build self-esteem, and heal. She builds off of the strengths of each child, and loves to see the world through their eyes.


Jessica Castillo, PsyD

Dr. Jessica Castillo is currently doing her post-doctoral residency at the Roseland Mental Health Clinic, a program by Jewish Family Service that started in 2019.  Dr. Castillo earned her doctoral degree (PsyD) in clinical psychology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a renowned APA accredited and academic institution. Dr. Castillo has substantive experience working with children and youth in the schools and in the community. Dr. Castillo has extensive training in treatment models for child traumatic stress and uses evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT and EMDR. Dr. Castillo considers herself a gentle and humble therapist and enjoys making her children feel at ease and helping caregivers navigate the different stressors that come with this role. Dr. Castillo is excited to serve the Roseland community!
