JFS Volunteers Earn CPR Certification

NOVEMBER 6, 2024
A round of applause for the 9 JFS volunteers who have just completed their CPR certification! This group participated in an optional training course led by Jay Abrams, our Facilities Coordinator. Throughout the course, they learned and practiced essential life-saving skills, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, AED use, and proper hand positioning, all through hands-on training with specialized CPR manikins.

While we hope these volunteers will never need to use these skills in real life, they now have the confidence and knowledge to respond in an emergency. Whether at JFS or elsewhere, these volunteers are now better equipped to make a life-saving difference if the need arises!

We are proud of their commitment to learning these invaluable skills and thankful for their dedication to our community. Thank you to Jay Abrams for leading the course and to all our volunteers for their continued service and readiness to help when it matters most.
