On July 22nd, the JFS Northpoint Health Center opened its doors after hours for a back-to-school health fair! During this two-hour event, JFS’s Chief Medical Officer and Northpoint’s primary care physician, Dr. Heather Esquivel, welcomed over 213 community members!
Clinic staff provided free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, glucose readings, and height and weight measurements. They also assisted new patients with scheduling appointments at the clinic and answered any questions they had.
Parents from 59 different families received free backpacks filled with school supplies for their children during the back-to-school event! It was a delight to see so many new faces before the school year began, and it served as a wonderful introduction to the Northpoint Health Center for community members.
