United Way of Metropolitan Dallas will host Reading Day Presented by EY on February 28^th from 9:00AM to 10:30AM, celebrating diverse readers while bringing communities together through the joys of reading. The event will engage hundreds of volunteers in reading to children in nearly 500 classrooms across North Texas to inspire early literacy. We would like to motivate volunteer engagement by providing our flyer and save the date invite, attached above, to our North Texas community to fulfill the need to have at least 1 volunteer reader per classroom over the 12 participating school locations for this year. On both pieces of collateral you can find the registration link to sign up to volunteer at your closest school.

The registration deadline for the schools that require a full background check is February 18.

The registration deadline for the reamining schools is February 24.

All volunteers need to show a valid, government-issued ID at check-in on February 28.
