Our Presenter:

Rabbi Michael Friedman, or “Rabbi Mike,” is a seventh generation rabbi and Licensed Professional Counselor.  He works at Jewish Family Service as a mental health clinician and at Lion Counseling.  He and his wife, Nikki Friedman co-founded Nafshi – Souled on Wellness, a Jewish non-profit organization that combines spiritual principles with holistic wellness.  Rabbi Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Talmudic Law, and a Master’s of Education.  He came to Dallas in 2010 to work as the Assistant Rabbi of Congregation Shaare Tefilla while promoting special needs awareness and inclusion as the Dallas Chapter Coordinator of Yachad – The National Jewish Council for Disabilities.  He has taught in Anshai Torah’s Hebrew High School, Akiba Academy, Yavneh Academy, and the Melton School of Adult Education at the JCC of Dallas.
