Volunteers and community members are invited to the inaugural Staff Speaker Series at Jewish Family Service. Hear from our professionals about services JFS has to offer and important topics that may be valuable to know in your everyday interactions.
Sessions are free of charge, one hour long, and will be held in the JFS Board Room.
Session 2: Implicit Bias and How it Affects You
Speaker: Jeff Courtman, Licensed Professional Counselor
Understanding implicit bias and how it affects how we process information, including how we see others. We will look into our own unconscious stereotypes and how they are influenced by associations.
