Family Wellth: Cherish Family Health and Wellness During Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Please join us for a presentation that sheds light on risk factors that put individuals and families at risk for violence. We will focus on how intergenerational trauma and COVID-19 have affected this issue, and how to strive towards family health and wellness during these trying times. This presentation is for any professional, survivor, or community member who is interested in learning more about how family patterns can impact us and others and how to move forward with a more compassionate lens.

Meet the Presenters:

Alita Andrews is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Masters degree in Public Health. Andrews is a clinician at Jewish Family Services who aims to serve others for the betterment of her community and has several years of experience in community mental health projects and family violence.

Danielle Hudson is a Licensed Master of Social Work. Hudson is a Clinical Case Manager with Jewish Family Service who is passionate about leaving people and places better than how she found them. Hudson has worked with a myriad of populations that include mental health, substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, housing, and aging.
