FreeCloud storage is a type of data storage where files are stored in a remote server, which is accessible through the internet. This means that users can access their data from any device with an internet connection.
This free presentation will explore the world of cloud storage and how it can be used to enhance your daily life. We will discuss the basics of cloud storage, including what it is, and the different types of cloud storage available. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of using cloud storage, such as improved accessibility, scalability, and reliability, as well as potential security and privacy issues.
Additionally, we will discuss how cloud storage can be used for various purposes, such as backing up and sharing data, storing documents and photos, and synchronizing files between devices. Finally, we will look at how to set up and use cloud storage, including how to select the right provider, create an account, upload data, and manage your storage.
By the end of the course, you will have a fundamental understanding of cloud storage and how to use it to your advantage!
Learn how to safely sync devices and share files with cloud storage during this in-person class, designed for adults age 50+ to learn the digital skills needed to thrive in today’s society. This class is part of a partnership with AARP and Older Adult Technology Services (OATS).
