On February 23rd, JFS hosted our very first Family Day, bringing together 12 volunteers from four families to serve the community in meaningful ways.
Parents and children worked side by side to assemble craft kits, prep and clean the Food Pantry, and paint flowerpots for older adults who receive Kosher Home-Delivered Meals. These thoughtful touches will brighten the days of those we serve while reinforcing the importance of giving back as a family.
It was heartwarming to see volunteers of all ages working together, showing that acts of kindness know no age limit. Thank you to everyone who participated—we look forward to making Family Day a new tradition at JFS!
