PLAN at Katz Corner

The PLAN Clubhouse empowers individuals living with mental illness by engaging in meaningful work, fostering encouraging relationships, and providing key resources while socializing in a safe, judgment-free environment.

The Clubhouse Recovery Model

The Clubhouse Recovery Model is based on the idea that, despite your mental illness diagnosis, you deserve to be part of a community that cares, and that you have skills and talents to share (even if you don’t know what those talents are yet!).  As a member of the Clubhouse, you’ll get support in meeting your goals and support others as they work towards their goals.

PLAN at Katz Corner is the first accredited Clubhouse in North Texas, operating according to the 37 Clubhouse International standards.

PLAN Connections

Connections is the newest initiative of PLAN, a program of JFS Dallas. It provides comprehensive, community-based support for individuals with mental health challenges and their families. The PLAN Connections team offers free Peer Support services to those who can benefit, regardless of PLAN membership status. Case management services are also available to PLAN members. These programs are generously funded by the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority.

Our designated Case Manager assists PLAN members with questions about housing, benefits, medical and dental providers, and daily living needs.

Our team of Mental Health Peer Specialists uses their lived experience to help those who are struggling with emotional support and goal setting.

For more than 25 years, Planned Living Assistance Network of North Texas (PLAN) has provided quality care and coordination for hundreds of families, offering psychotherapy, case management, and family support.
