  • How long does the Intake Process take before I can schedule with a provider?

While we cannot give a definitive time frame, we respond to all calls and service inquiries within 1-2 business days. We make every effort to expedite the process and connect you with a provider as soon as possible. You can reduce delays in the process by completing all the necessary consent and acknowledgement forms and providing the front and back of your insurance card. Getting assigned to a provider takes 1-4 weeks. There are times when we might be working through a waitlist, which could lead to some delays; however, we are happy to share any current delays during your initial Intake appointment.

  • Can I choose my therapist?

Through our comprehensive triage process, we match you with a provider based on your presenting concerns, the provider’s area of expertise, and your insurance. We also make every effort to accommodate your preferences for a provider, including gender, speciality, and time availability.

  • If I don’t like my therapist, can I ask for a different one?

We want your counseling experience to be helpful. If you feel you are not quite connecting with your provider, we ask that you take the opportunity to discuss your concerns during your counseling session. Sharing your experience with your provider can be a therapeutic part of the counseling process. Your provider will listen to your concerns and work with you to make a plan moving forward, even if that plan ultimately results in sending your case back to triage for reassignment.
