Kosher Home Delivered Meals

Our caring team of volunteers deliver nutritious, kosher meals directly to the homes of older adults, helping them maintain independence and stay connected to their community. Meals are pre-cooked under supervision of Dallas Kosher and delivered frozen, and can be easily reheated in the oven. Deliveries are made once a week, and recipients receive a selection from a pre-set menu. Volunteer drivers deliver meals each Monday and Thursday between 10:00am and 12:30pm.

Kosher Home Delivered Meals (KHDM) is supported, in part, by the Community Council of Greater Dallas / Dallas Area Agency on Aging and Texas Health and Human Services. Proud member of Meals on Wheels America.

Interested in volunteering to deliver KHDM?

The kosher home-delivered meals have truly added years to my grandparents’ lives. Living alone in Dallas, they struggled to prepare food, and I was heartbroken to see they were skipping meals due to limited access to groceries. Thanks to JFS, they now receive nutritious kosher meals delivered right to their door, helping them stay healthy and allowing them to safely live in their own home longer. This service has made an enormous difference for our family.
