Donate Supplies

An in-kind donation is a non-monetary gift that helps JFS Dallas stretch our resources and provide services to families in need. Whether it’s food, hygiene products, or other essential supplies, your contributions directly support our programs and the individuals and families we serve.

  • Donate Food

Our Food Pantry serves nearly 1 million pounds of food to the community each year. We welcome donations of shelf-stable, unopened, and unexpired food. Simply drop off your donations at our front desk to help support the food pantry.

  • High Holiday Food Drive

During the Jewish High Holidays (typically in September), we partner with local congregations to collect food donations from congregants. In 2025, our High Holiday Food Drive collected over 8,000 pounds of food from partners, including Levine Academy, Adat Chaverim, Kol Ami, Chabad of Dallas, Congregation Beth Torah, Congregation Shearith Israel, and Congregation Anshai Torah.

  • Host a Supply Drive

Want to make a bigger impact? Host a supply drive in your neighborhood, school, house of worship, or workplace!

Our team will provide guidance, resources, and updates on current Food Pantry needs to help your drive succeed.

  • Feminine Hygiene Drive

During Women’s Month (March), we encourage the community to donate feminine hygiene products to ensure everyone has access to these essential items. Last year, we collected 8,350 products to provide to community members through the food pantry at no cost.

  • Annual Diaper Shower

Since 2011, the Annual JFS Dallas Diaper Shower has collected and distributed over 1.5 million diapers. While we accept donations of unopened packs year-round, our next Diaper Shower campaign runs in October 2026.

  • Holiday Market Donations

The Holiday Market is a three-day event where families ‘shop’ for gifts for their loved ones at no cost.

This program is made possible by donations of brand-new, unopened, unwrapped gifts for adults and children. We also welcome gift wrapping supplies to help make the market a special experience.

  • National Day Drives

Throughout the year, we celebrate fun national days like Toilet Paper Day, Mac & Cheese Day, Peanut Butter Day, and Canned Food Day by collecting these high-demand items for the Food Pantry.

  • Food Pantry Kits

We aim to distribute creative and thoughtful kits to brighten the days of the families we serve in the food pantry. These kits can include Birthday kits, Craft kits, Hygiene kits, and more. If you have a unique idea for a kit or want to donate pre-assembled kits, you can drop them off at the front desk.

How to donate

Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the JFS front desk during regular business hours. Although we dedicate certain months to certain drives, all items we collect, including diapers, feminine hygiene items, and holiday gifts, are accepted year-round.

Important: Please do not leave bags of food or other items unattended on the property, as this creates a security concern.
