Last year, more than 18,000 individuals turned to the JFS Dallas for essential support. Diapers and wipes are among the most requested items in our food pantry, and one of the least donated, making community drives like this one especially impactful.
JFS Dallas gives out more than 250,000 free diapers each year. The annual Diaper Shower is crucial to help keep the shelves of the JFS Food Pantry and JFS Dallas Health Centers stocked all year round.
How to Host a Drive
Hosting a drive is a great way to get your office, congregations, school, or friend groups involved in helping the community.
Step 1: Choose Your Dates
We suggest hosting a drive during the entire month of October for the annual Diaper Shower, but any time of the year is a great time!
Step 2: Set up a collection bin
Print a collection sign and place it on an empty box to create a collection bin.
Step 3: Spread the Word
Share information about your drive on social media, group chats, or with printed fliers.
Step 4: Deliver Donations
