Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas recently welcomed Society of Life members for an evening of connection and appreciation, generously hosted by Gilian and Steve Baron. Guests enjoyed kosher wine and hors d’oeuvres while hearing exciting updates about the agency’s growth and impact.

Thanks to the commitment of Society of Life donors, JFS Dallas was able to provide integrated services that supported the physical, emotional, nutritional, and financial well-being of more than 22,000 community members this past year.

The evening also offered a look ahead at the agency’s next exciting chapter—the upcoming move to the Karla and Larry Steinberg Building, a 100,000-square-foot space that will officially become JFS’s new home in February. The move will also include the opening of a second medical clinic, expanding access to primary care for those in need.

“This incredible progress is possible because of the unwavering generosity of supporters like you,” Cathy Barker, President & CEO shared.

The Barons, long-time JFS supporters, welcomed guests into their home to celebrate the compassion and dedication that make the agency’s mission possible. Their family’s involvement with JFS Dallas spans generations through volunteerism, leadership, and philanthropy, reflecting the deep sense of community that defines the Society of Life.

The Society of Life honors donors who contribute $1,800 or more annually to Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas. Their generosity helps ensure JFS Dallas can continue to provide help, hope, and healing to all who turn to us in times of need.
