Even in the Texas heat, more than 300 members of our community– donors, volunteers, clients, partners, and staff, came together to celebrate a shared commitment: ensuring every individual has access to whole-person care.
As Cathy Barker, President & CEO, shared in her remarks, “Last year, we served 22,000 unduplicated clients at JFS. With this new campus, we will serve 50,000 clients by 2030.”
During the event, we were also honored to hear from JFS Dallas leadership, Capital Campaign leadership, and community partners, including Donald Zale, Judge Clay Jenkins, Rabbi Mordechai Harris, and Reuben Rotman. The ceremony included a mezuzah hanging and dedication, led by Rabbi Harris, Chief Impact Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, honoring the Jewish values at the heart of our work.
The event concluded with self-guided tours of the new campus, giving guests the opportunity to walk through the space and see firsthand how JFS Dallas is serving our community. To read more about the spaces and services within the building, click the button below to read the digital program book.
This event also marked the official conclusion of the Meeting the Moment Campaign. Because of the 1,400 donors who contributed to this campaign, JFS Dallas has been able to expand services, introduce medical care, and strengthen long-term sustainability of the agency through endowment growth.
Thank you again for being part of this meaningful day. Your support helps make it possible for JFS Dallas to provide physical, emotional, nutritional, and financial services to anyone in need—regardless of their ability to pay.
