Thanks to our board, leadership, and the incredible support from our community, construction has officially begun at the new Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas building.

“As a community, we have to continue to step up so that we can innovate, respond, and be here for future generations,” says Cathy Barker. “This space is more than a building—it’s a promise”.  The 100,000 square-foot facility now undergoing renovations will allow us to welcome more clients in a space that reflects the dignity and compassion at the heart of our mission. We’ll be able to expand our services, deepen our impact, and work more collaboratively to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Our model of whole-person care proactively addresses all aspects of a person’s well-being. At JFS Dallas, we know that physical, emotional, financial, and nutritional health are closely related and that challenges in one area of life don’t exist in isolation. The new Karla and Larry Steinberg building will house an expanded food pantry, a second medical clinic providing primary care, dedicated space for career and financial coaching and seminars, and over 21,000 square-feet dedicated to behavioral health services.

A big thank you to those who donated to the Meeting the Moment Capital Campaign to bring this vision to live. Your support ensures that JFS will be able to grow, adapt, and continue providing whole-person care for individuals and families.

We invite you to follow along as the journey continues. Updates will be shared on InstagramFacebook, and LinkedIn as construction progresses and we get closer to moving in next Spring.
