Software Specialist I #S04397P – University of Texas at Dallas

Prepares new desktops and laptops for deployment by applying the standard JSOM image to them as they are received. Assist staff and faculty with data migration from old devices. Troubleshoot wireless network connectivity problems on Windows and Apple laptops and tablets as well as, Android and IOS devices. Additional duties as assigned.

Assist JSOM staff and faculty with desktops, laptops, applications, and related technology. Provide support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Resolve issues or assign tickets as necessary. Answer support calls for assistance with AV Podiums in classrooms. Assist in the daily operations of the JSOM Technology and Facilities department as necessary.


Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent IT certifications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
