Procurement Analyst will be responsible for procurement-related reporting and the management of university-wide spend data analysis to help identify procurement opportunities that reduce cost and secure Best Value; participate in fiscal year-end activities; reconcile accounts and cost centers as needed, and resolve procurement issues of a non-routine nature.
- Conduct statistical and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and data relationships to identify cost savings opportunities, ensure compliance with purchasing rules and regulations, and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Prepare and submit required weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and make recommendations to enhance reporting capabilities and enhance data visibility.
- Work with Buyers and Business Process Analysts to process annual year-end PO roll, process PO changes, and resolve PO encumbrance-related issues.
- Assist with developing creative and innovative procurement strategies and solutions for process improvements and system enhancements.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field of study to work being performed. 1 year of experience in accounting, procurement or closely related work experience. An equivalent level of education and/or experience will also be accepted.
