Information Security Analyst-Engineering #S03997P – University of Texas at Dallas

As a member of the Engineering team within the Information Security Office, the Information Security Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the systems necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and accountability of UT Dallas computer systems, networks, and information assets.

  • Architecting, implementing, and maintaining the tools, systems, and products used by other functional areas within theย ISOย and University
  • Automating incident response processes and tools
  • Provide consultation to other departments within the University on the security implications of IT projects
  • Develop documentation forย ISOย systems and processes
  • Participate in and support incident response as a member of the Incident Response Team during significant incidents
  • Participate in change control meetings to ensure security implications are reviewed and considered
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
