esponsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintaining awareness of the latest developments in the alternative fuel and electric vehicle industries, including issues related to how electric vehicles and the electric grid interact
- Assisting with the identification and communication of region-specific best practices to support resilience of alternative fuel infrastructure, especially electric vehicle charging
- Assisting with the selection of region-appropriate emissions-reduction strategies for a regional air quality improvement plan
- Contributing to the drafting of a regional air quality improvement plan
- Providing assistance in the planning of meetings and/or other events for stakeholders, including educational webinars, peer exchanges, etc.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of air quality grant programsย such as the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan, Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program, or other competitive grants to support local stakeholders
- Providing assistance in the development, implementation and monitoring of project and program goals, performance measures, and milestones
- Drafting, for supervisor review and approval, responses to stakeholder inquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Monitoring impacts of State and federal policies, rules, and legislation
- Drafting, for supervisor review, correspondence, grant applications, technical reports, and other documents
Required Skills

- Working knowledge of electric vehicles and/or the electric utility industry preferred
Required Experience
- Bachelorโs degree in analytical, quantitative methods
- One year or less of job-related experience
Starting Salary Range
Minimum of $45,736.00 โ $54,883.20 annually
