Administrative Assistant – North Central Texas Council of Governments 

Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.
  • Order and manage office supplies and inventory.
  • Coordination and assistance with events.
  • Coordination of facilities requests.
  • Coordination of mail, inventory, and records.
  • Director support
  • Board of Managers support
  • Scribe for meetings

  Applicant Qualifications 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical skills
  • Highly customer services oriented
  • Able to multitask and prioritize

Required Experience 

Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature that may be obtained with six-months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency. Junior college, vocational, business, technical or correspondence schools are likely sources. Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.
