Academic Support Coordinator #S04265P – University of Texas at Dallas

The Academic Support coordinator position is a key member of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies (IS) lead administrative team. As the school grows, we need an energetic, detail-oriented individual with great customer service skills. The position will provide opportunities for creative problem solving and innovation to help faculty and students succeed.
  • Administer the School of Interdisciplinary Studies course scheduling process, track enrollment, and prepare enrollment analysis reports.
  • Work with Program Heads, Directors, and faculty to promote new courses, plan for course modalities, provide support for internships, and planning/ordering for the Academic Bridge Program.
  • Administer the School’s Scholarship Program, both one-time and recurring scholarships.
  • Plan and direct Commencement ceremonies in conjunction with the Commencement Committee. Assist with the planning of other events and special event scheduling.
  • Attend meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on UTD policies and procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added to accommodate the School’s development and demands.


Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four or more years of administrative office experience in an academic environment. Excellent computer skills with various programs and ability to work with specialized databases. Outstanding customer service skills.
