Teacher Training Workshop – Jewish Educators

This session will be led by Lacey Mathews, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, and Gustavo Barcenas, Ph.D., LPC, RPT, Offsite Clinical Program Manager. They will provide practical knowledge and scenarios about some of the most common typical and atypical child behaviors in the school setting. You will gain a better understanding of the developmental needs of children and learn how to respond appropriately to challenging behaviors.

The training workshop will cover a range of topics, including the theoretical foundations of typical vs. atypical development, basics of behavior modification and how to apply them in the classroom, and case examples and practice. By attending the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you can use to showcase your newly acquired knowledge and skills to your colleagues and supervisors.

This event will take place at Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas.
