Stress hijacks the brain and impedes learning. Although we have little control of what happens outside the classroom, we can provide some of the support and help children may need to handle these stressful times. By understanding how stress affects learning and implementing some targeted strategies, teachers can help build their students’ emotional resilience and ultimately positively impact their learning capacities.
Participants will earn two Teacher Incentive Points for attending this session. Appropriate for early childhood educators.

Professional Presenters:

Dr. Elizabeth Ener, Ph.D, LPC, NCC, RPT Child and Adolescent Clinical Therapist
Dr. Jamie Smith Psy.D Post-doctoral Fellow in Pediatric NeuropsychologyJ
