Founded in 2005, the prestigious Society of Life was created to celebrate and financially support Jewish Family Service’s life-changing work.
This giving circle affords donors of $1,800 or more the opportunity to provide sustaining support for our wide array of expert mental-health and social services. These contributions make it possible for us to offer services on a sliding fee scale – ensuring no client is turned away because of an inability to pay.
In our 2007-08 fiscal year, contributions from Society of Life members helped to underwrite approximately 2,500 hours of help for families in need, including counseling, family violence intervention, job assistance and services for the elderly. Collectively, this commitment represents Jewish Family Service’s third largest funding source, behind the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
Jewish Family Service is pleased to recognize our Society of Life members annually through special invitations, updates, and recognition through events, newsletters and our web site.
Below you’ll find suggested giving levels and examples of the impact your support can have on individuals and families in need. We hope you will make your gift today.
